Amber assisted the National Audit Office to represent District CouncilS on the development of their 2017 Homelessness Report. She supported the Local Government Association and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on the costs impact of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
Amber worked for Swale Borough Council from 2009 to 2018, as head of a customer services. she managed included empty homes purchase and repair, refugee resettlement programme, housing benefit, council tax and business rate administration, plus other matters.
Amber worked for Thanet District Council from 1994 to 2009, as strategic housing manager. she oversaw housing allocation and homelessness functions, private rented sector services, plus housing enabling, policy and strategy. she ALSO developed 'daily bidding’ for choice based lettings schemes.
Amber OBATINED A Chartered Institute of Housing Professional Diploma from DeMontford University, plus a Diploma in Management Studies from Christchurch University.
